About this Advanced Practitioner Training Level Two

Course Schedule
Begin your training on 14th - 16th March 2025 in retreat at a venue on the Dorset coast
and connect with Jyoti, Christine Godwin & previous graduates of this programme now practising as Special Yoga Senior Practitioners and teachers.
The retreat will include: Yoga Nidra, Reflexology, Free Your Voice sound and mantra, and mindful practices of love and compassion.
Live webinars will be held on 19th April, 17th May, 31st May, 14th June, 12th July, 6th September, 11th October and will cover:
a session with Dr’s Brown and Gerbarg of Breath-Body-Mind (TM) for a deeper understanding and practise of Coherent Breathing,
a webinar with Dr Nicole Schnackenberg for an exploration of the Nervous System. Nicole is not only a mother but also a distinguished community, educational and child psychologist. She is a trustee of the Body Dysmorphic Disorder and a director of the Yoga in Healthcare Alliance.
a teaching of somatics with a variety of movement practices, including standing, seated (on chairs or the floor), and floor exercises from which you'll learn to release stored stress and rediscover a sense of spaciousness within.
one session on understanding trauma
Jyoti and Christine leading a webinar dedicated to understanding pranayama (this will be more advanced practices than taught on previous levels)
a session dedicated to the beautiful practice of Heartfulness - a cornerstone of the Special Yoga methodology
Jyoti sharing how to sequence a class as you adapt practices for the child/ren in front of you.

Jo Avison - Delve into the network of fascia with Joanne Avison who shares an understanding of fascia from structure to sensory awareness and how it can help us all to move better and feel better.
Alice Maclaine - our regular meditation teacher and Special Yoga trainer and advanced practitioner Alice will lead share an understanding of the practice and benefits of meditation
Dr Nicole Schnackenberg - Expand your understanding of the nervous system that Nicole shares in the live webinar
Jyoti - Non violent communication
The cost of teaching, accommodation and meals at the opening retreat plus all webinars and course handouts is included in the price of the course. Not included is your travel or transfers to the retreat venue.

Course Refund and Transfer
Our refund and transfer policy was available to view on our website prior to a student making a booking. They are as follows:
Refunds
If you have booked onto a Special Yoga course you will not be eligible for a refund unless it has been cancelled by us.
If you have signed up to a payment plan you are reminded that when purchasing you have agreed to continue to make those payments until the full amount of the course fee is paid.
Transfers - after course start
If you have already started the course and, for whatever reason you wish to transfer to a later course you will still be responsible for full payment of the first course.
Please write to info@specialyoga.co.uk with your transfer request.
If agreed you will be eligible to join the subsequent course at half price.
You will be sent a discount code along with a booking link for the subsequent course.
