Somatic Yoga
Unwind The Body -
6 Week Online Course

“This course is much more than simply movement, it's reconnecting with yourself and reclaiming your well-being, because you can't pour from an empty cup. "

Somatics Yoga: Accessible - Adaptable - Effective

Rejuvenate and nourish yourself. Designed to help caregivers and parents release stress, rediscover spaciousness, and cultivate lasting well-being.

Join us for a transformative journey of self-care and rejuvenation with our "Unwind the Body" somatic yoga course. Designed specifically for caregivers and parents who dedicate so much of themselves to others, this course offers a much-needed opportunity to prioritise self-nourishment and relaxation.

The course runs on Monday evenings via Zoom from 7-45pm til 9-15pm on October 7th, 14th and 21st, then there’s a one week break for half term and it returns for classes on November 4th 11th and 18th.

Over the course of these six weeks, participants will engage in a practical, hands-on exploration of the body's tensions and tightnesses that accumulate from life's responsibilities. Through a variety of movement practices, including standing, seated (on chairs or the floor), and floor exercises, you'll learn to release stored stress and rediscover a sense of spaciousness within.

Each week will offer a unique focus, allowing you to dive deep into different aspects of somatic yoga that can be integrated into your daily routine. Whether it's gentle stretches to unwind tight muscles, breathwork to soothe the nervous system, or mindfulness practices to cultivate presence and peace, you'll leave each session feeling refreshed and renewed.

A recording of each weekly class will be available for one week to support student practise.

This course is not just about physical movement; it's about reconnecting with yourself on a deeper level and learning to listen to your body's wisdom. You will develop tools and techniques to support your ongoing well-being for life.

I look forward to welcoming you on this journey of self-discovery and self-care.

Meet Your Teacher

Ruth Bush

Hi I am Ruth.

I have been working in the area of self development and growth for over 20 years. What makes my heart sing is to see peoples lives transformed by yoga and these powerful healing practices.

I first discovered yoga in my early 20s whilst studying at University. The tools and practices of yoga just blew me away. It was like having a guide book on how to navigate being a human being! I began threading the practices into my daily life and seeing such wonderful benefits..... feeling so connected and learning how to nurture and heal myself.

It has totally transformed my life and I am so hugely grateful for this and my continued growth and learning.

Yoga has become my way of life and it fills me with delight and joy to spread the teachings to you.
